VOICE OF BVJ KARAOKE CONTEST
Infinite Event Services and ArrKann Trailers are pumped to bring back The Voice of Big Valley Karaoke Contest. This contest has been running for over 20 years with some notable winners like the late Shane Yellowbird, Candice Ryan and Mat Cardinal. We give you an opportunity to experience the rush of performing at an iconic Country Music Festival.
Join hosts Barney Evans and Jammin’ Jamie for the open karaoke shows that will run in the Watering Hole where anyone can come in and sing their favorite song. Over the first 3 days 16 talented singers will be invited to perform in the finals Sunday afternoon where our judges will crown the ArrKann Trailer Voice of BVJ 2023 winner. The winner will perform 1 song on the Coors Banquet Saloon Stage that night in front of thousands and thousands of country music fans.
No other festival gives their guests a chance to sing on the same stage as stars like Luke Combs, Dallas Smith, Brothers Osborne and so many other greats.
Don’t worry if you don’t want to compete. Karaoke has always meant to be fun so come down with your friends and get your sing on.
Registration for the finalists takes place on Sunday from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm.
DUELING PIANO KINGS

Dueling Piano Kings is a highly interactive all-request piano show “where your requests rule”. The duo won “Entertainers of the Year” for the entire country at the Canadian Event Industry Awards in March 2019 and they were the first winners ever of the 2017 Calgary Event Award for “Best Entertainer”! There are nominated again in 2022 for “Entertainers of the Year” and “Best Virtual Entertainment”.
Pat McGannon has over five decades of piano-playing experience. He has performed all over the world including events for Bill Clinton, Tom Hanks and the late Glenn Frey of The Eagles. He’s performed with Dueling Piano Kings at the Scotiabank Saddledome for several Calgary Flames game, Calgary Roughnecks Games, and three times at McMahon Stadium for a Calgary Stampeders game in front of over 25,000 people. He has performed all over North America, Europe and is “big in Japan”!
Cal Toth is a high energy piano player that loves to perform! He has always been an energetic performer who enjoys having fun with audiences. Cal’s rock ‘n roll style piano show gives audiences the opportunity to request their favorite music and always keeps the crowd entertained. He loves entertaining people and has been performing professionally for over 30 years.
Anna McBryan has toured for the past four years through Alaska, the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand with Holland America Line delighting audiences with her extensive repertoire of Broadway, pop, rock, country and jazz music. One of her favourite past performance highlights was opening for Keith Urbanwhen he toured through Alberta in 2003! She continues to perform regularly with the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra in her home town, in addition to headliner shows every year with the local Jazz Festival.
These three piano players have over a century of piano-playing experience, and can play any song you want to hear, from classic rock, country, to the latest Top 40 music! No performances are ever the same!
