FESTIVAL INFORMATION

  • RULES
    Please ensure you review our policies, including our bag policy and campground rules, here. What items are allowed in the festival bowl? Hats Sun Block - We highly recommend! Lighters - Smoking allowed in designated areas. Sunglasses Beach Towel Blanket - Subject to search. One clear plastic Bottle of Water, factor sealed or empty. No metal bottles. No coloured bottles. ** We have two refill stations - one inside the bowl and one on Main Street Fanny Packs - Are not required to be clear. Digital Cameras - Non-professional digital cameras are allowed. DSLR cameras or those with a removable lense are not allowed inside the festival. Disposable Cameras Film Cameras (non-professional) Soft Lawn chairs - Please remove from the bag so both items can be searched. Strollers – Subject to search. Cell Phones Prescription medication is allowed in the original prescription bottle. Any guests attempting to bring in prescription medication must have photo identification card that matches the name printed on the prescription. The pills in the bottle must also match the medication/description printed on the prescription. "Over-the-Counter” Medications are allowed in – Provided they are new and are in the original, factory-sealed container. Required Medical Equipment - Wheelchairs, oxygen bottles etc. We encourage anybody with additional medical equipment to visit the medical building for assistance. All items and patrons are subject to additional inspection prior to entering the venue. ​ What items are not allowed in the festival bowl? Glass Containers, metal water bottles, or coloured water bottles Umbrellas Chairs with Canopies Outside Food & Beverages Drones, Unmanned Aircraft Devices & Remote Controlled Vehicles Alcoholic Beverages & Illegal Substances Animals - With the exception of service animals for guests with disabilities. Bags – Click here to view our Bag Policy Bottles, Cans, Thermoses & Other Beverage Containers Professional Cameras - DSLR cameras or those with a removable lens are not allowed. Fireworks Laptop Computers Radios Laser Pointer Devices Noisemakers Promotional/Advertising or Sale Materials, not approved by Country Thunder. Anyone found to be in violation of this policy will be removed from the festival grounds. Seat Cushions larger than 15 inches x 15 inches or that contain armrests, zippers, pockets, flaps or metal backs - Subject to search. Selfie sticks, sticks or poles Video Cameras Monopods and Tripods Weapons - Knives, box-cutters, firearms, etc. All items and patrons are subject to additional inspection prior to entering the venue.
  • HOURS
    Our Campgrounds open for early arrival on Wednesday, July 31st at 9am - 10pm. Our Front Gate and Will Call are open from Wednesday, July 31st to Saturday, August 3rd from 9am - 10pm and Sunday, August 4th from 9am - 9pm. All fans will pass through this area to enter the festival grounds. *Please note, if you arrive after our Front Gate is closed, you will be unable to drive into the festival grounds. Main Street will be open Thursday, August 1st from 12pm - 3am, and Friday, August 2nd to Sunday, August 4th from 10am - 3am. The Coors Original Saloon opens at 4pm on Thursday, August 1st and 3pm on Friday, August 2nd to Sunday, August 4th. The Jim Beam Concert Bowl, the area where the Main Stage is located, is open at 12pm on Friday, August 2nd to Sunday, August 4th. The Information Booth, located on Main Street, is open from 10am - 10pm on Thursday, August 1st to Sunday, August 4th. The Renewal Lounge, where you can renew your experience for the Big Valley Jamboree 2025, is located inside the Marketplace Tradeshow, open from 12pm - 7pm on Thursday, August 1st and 10am - 7pm on Friday, August 2nd to Sunday, August 4th. Showers are available in the campground from Thursday, August 1st to Sunday, August 4th from 8am - 8pm. You can view locations on our map here. Showers are $10/shower, cash only.
  • TICKETS
    Do you offer a Payment Plan? A payment plan is available for the Big Valley Jamboree 2024. Please make the selection during checkout. Your order will be split into four equal payments. There is an $8 fee to place your order using our payment plan. ​ How will I receive my order? Your tickets will be available in the AXS Mobile app about eight weeks in advance of the festival. When you arrive at the festival, we'll give you stickers to place on your vehicle to indicate parking/camping and wristbands to designate your admission. **Please note, once a wristband is tightened, it cannot be loosened. Treat your wristband like the money you spent on your admission. If your wristband becomes too tight, we can replace it at our discretion for a $20 fee at Will Call or the Information Booth. I purchased a ticket for my friend, but we’re arriving separately. What should I do? You will need to use the Transfer feature on your mobile ticket, more details coming soon. Please note, you will not be able to share a screenshot of your barcode, as it automatically updates every sixty seconds. A screenshot will scan invalid at the Front Gate. Do children require their own ticket? Children under the ages of 10 are free to attend in our general admission areas. Children that are 2 and under are allowed to sit on an adult’s lap in the Reserved and VIP Seating Areas, however children 3+ will require their own Seat. ​ Can I purchase my experience for next year? Yes, we do offer the ability to renew your experience for next year on our Reserved Seats, Reserved Plus Seats, VIP Seats, and Campsites. This year, renewals will begin on Thursday, August 1st. If you have items that are eligible for renewal, you will receive an email with more information. Renewals are offered online, over the phone, or in person at the Renewal Lounge. ​ Can I transfer my Reserved Seat, Reserved Plus Seat, VIP Seat, or Campsite if I won't be using it moving forward? You can not transfer the rights to your experience to another fan. If you do not want your Reserved Seat, Reserved Plus Seat, VIP Seat, or Campsite, it will become available to the public after the Renewal period. Can I upgrade my ticket after I've already purchased it? What is the cost? Yes! If you decide to upgrade prior to your arrival at the festival, give us a call at 1.888.404.1234. If you decide to upgrade while at the festival, please visit Will Call or the Information Booth. The cost to upgrade is the difference between what you paid for the ticket and the new ticket price. Upgrades are always subject to availability. ​ I need to pick up items at Will Call. What is that? Will Call is a box office located at the Front Gate. As you arrive at the festival grounds, you’ll see signs directing you to Will Call. *Please note, you will need a valid government-issued ID in order to pick up items from Will Call. The name on your ID must match the name listed on the order. How can I tell if a ticket is legitimate? We are unable to verify the validity of a third party sale. Guaranteed tickets can only be purchased from Big Valley Jamboree directly.
  • CAMPING
    Please ensure your camping unit and vehicle fit within your campsite. Please do not spill over into your neighbour's site. If your vehicle does not fit, you must move it to the day parking lot and purchase wknd day parking access. Please ensure all vehicle stickers are visible on your windshield. Does my purchase of admission include a campsite? No, a campsite must be purchased separately. ​ How many vehicles are allowed on my campsite? Each campsite includes parking for one ‘steering wheel,’ like a car or a motorhome. Each campsite can purchase one additional parking pass, called Secondary Vehicle Pass. *Please note, any vehicles in excess must be parked in our Weekend Overnight Parking or offsite. ​ How large are the campsites? You can view our available camping options here. Please note that if your RV exceeds the measurements of your selected campground, you will need to purchase two campsites. Does my campsite include hookups for water or electricity? All campsites are primitive. You’re welcome to run a generator, except during our Quiet Hours, 2am - 7am. What are Quiet Hours? Quiet Hours are 12am - 7am in Legacy, Legends and Heartland. Quiet Hours are 2am - 7am in Country Nation. We ask that generators and loud music are turned off. ​What should I bring to camp at the Big Valley Jamboree? We want you to have a good time, but plan for the elements too! We suggest you bring something that provides shade, plenty of water and ice, sun screen, comfortable shoes, etc. Is the price for my campsite just one day or the whole weekend? When do I need to vacate my campsite after the event? When you purchase a campsite, it’s yours for the entire festival. We do not sell campsites for single nights. We ask that your campsite is clean and empty by the end of the day on the Monday following the event. *Please note, owners of trash filled sites will be subject to a fine starting at $300 and may have the right to renew their campsite suspended. What are the rules regarding generators? Generators are allowed but must be turned off during our Quiet Hours. Quiet Hours 12am - 7am in Legacy, Legends and Heartland. Quiet Hours are 2am - 7am in Country Nation. ​ Can I light a bonfire? Bonfires and any fire of any kind, including tiki torches, are prohibited in the campgrounds. ​ Can I bring a grill? Gas and charcoal burning grills are permitted. ​ What are the rules if I bring my pet? Pets are allowed in the campgrounds, but not inside the festival, with the exception of service dogs. Service dogs must wear proper ID tags or vest. If you do bring a pet to the Big Valley Jamboree, you are responsible for them. Pets must be leashed at all times, and you are responsible for cleaning up after them. We recommend leaving your furry friend at home. The festival environment can often be stressful for our pets. ​ What should we do with our garbage? We appreciate your help in keeping our beautiful festival grounds clean! Please ensure that you bring trash bags with you to the festival, pick up your trash and keep your campsite clean. Trash can be placed in the dumpsters that are found through-out the campgrounds. Sites with excessive trash will face removal from the festival and will lose the right to renew. What are the rules for driving in the campgrounds? Any type of recreational vehicle, including golf carts and ATVs, are not allowed in the campgrounds. Motorcycles are allowed in the campgrounds, but they will require a vehicle pass. Mudding, or reckless driving of any kind, will result in an eviction from the site. Golf cart shuttles will be cruising around the campgrounds - flag ‘em down if you’d like to save yourself the walk around the campgrounds! Drivers charge $4 per/person, cash only. We need assistance in the campgrounds. How do we get help? If the matter is urgent, please call 1.888.404.1234 with as many details as possible. If our office is closed, please seek the attention of our Security staff, who are posted 24/7. If the matter is not an emergency, please send an email to bvj@bigvalleyjamboree.com with as many details as possible, including your contact information and campsite number. ​ Does my campsite include admission to the festival? The purchase of your campsite does not include admission to the festival. Please note, in order to enter the campgrounds and access your campsite, you will need to purchase full-weekend admission. ​ Is there a limit on the number of people that can stay on a campsite? As long as y’all stay within your marked area, you can accommodate as many people as you’d like! What are the rules regarding furniture? Upholstered household furniture is not allowed in the campgrounds. If you bring any of this furniture to the festival site, you will be fined $300 by campground staff. Arrangements can be made to return the payment by removing the furniture.
  • CAMPGROUND SERVICES
    Septic service is available in the campgrounds by contacting 780-781-0417. Potable Waterhauling is available by texting 780-603-8766. Text your Campground and Campsite Number. Cash only. Ice is available for purchase in the campgrounds - staff will sell off of golf carts, if you see them, flag ‘em down! Showers are located in the campgrounds, and are open from 8am - 8pm on Thursday, August 1 - Sunday, August 4. $10, cash only. BVJ Golf Cart Taxi Service will be available in the campgrounds. Taxis will be available on Thursday from 12pm to 3am, and Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 9:30am to 3am. On Thursday and Friday you can purchase a weekend taxi pass from one of the drivers. Ride all weekend long for $50.
  • SERVICES
    Shuttle Services Shuttles are available within Camrose. Pickup / Drop Off locations are at the Encana Arena and Duggan Mall. buses are running Thursday from 1pm – 3am, and Friday – Sunday they will run from 10am – 3am. They will run on a 15 minute loop between each pickup location. Lost & Found If you’re still at the festival, head to the Information Booth - all Lost and Found makes its way there. If you’ve already left, give us a call at 1.888.404.1234. Found something? Please return the missing item to the Information Booth. ​Information Booth & Renewal Lounge Our staff is available for any questions, concerns, and help processing your renewal. Click here to view the locations of our booths. The Information Booth, located on Main Street, is open from 10am - 10pm on Thursday, August 1st to Sunday, August 4th. The Renewal Lounge, where you can renew your experience for the Big Valley Jamboree 2025, is located inside the Marketplace Tradeshow, open from 12pm - 7pm on Thursday, August 1st and 10am - 7pm on Friday, August 2nd to Sunday, August 4th. Medical Services/ First Aid If you have a medical need, please visit our onsite medical staff. View our map here. Assistance is available 24 hours/day commencing Wednesday, July 31st. The South Field Medical Centre is open 8am-8pm. Dial 911 for Emergencies. ATM Services We have several ATMs onsite. If you’re paying with cash, you will need to visit one of our Ticket Booths, located on Main Street or inside the Jim Beam Concert Bowl, to exchange your cash for food or drink tickets. These tickets can then be redeemed for food or drink. Artist Merchandise In addition to Big Valley Jamboree merchandise, our artists will have their own merchandise available for sale.   • PARKING
    Weather permitting, Day Parking is available beginning at 9am each day. Vehicles must be removed by 7:30am the following day. Shuttle Services Shuttles are available within Camrose.   • FOOD & BEVERAGES
    Outside food and beverages are not allowed inside the Big Valley Jamboree, including on Main Street, inside the Marketplace Tradeshow, and inside the Jim Beam Concert Bowl, with the exception of one bottle of unopened water. We have a variety of food vendors, as well as full bars serving beer, cocktails, soda, and water. All of our food vendors and bars can accept cards. If you’re paying with cash, you will need to visit one of our Ticket Booths, located on Main Street or inside the Jim Beam Concert Bowl, to exchange your cash for food or drink tickets. These tickets can then be redeemed for food or drink.
  • ACCESSIBILITY
    We are committed to ensuring an enjoyable festival experience for our fans requiring accessible options. If you need any additional information or need to make a special request regarding an accommodation, please contact us in advance of the festival at bvj@bigvalleyjamboree.com. If you require assistance during the Big Valley Jamboree, we have staff available at our Information Booth. The Information Booth, located on Main Street, is open from 10am - 10pm on Thursday, August 1st to Sunday, August 4th. Is there an accessible viewing area for those that require it? We offer an accessible viewing area at the Main Stage, located to the right of the stage, next to our South VIP Villages. The area offers limited seating, so we ask that fans requiring seating on this platform bring only one guest. Please note that as the crowd thickens, it may be difficult to access the area, so we suggest you arrive early. Do you offer accessible camping? We do offer access camping. Please call the office at 1.888.404.1234 to purchase camping in this area. BVJ Golf Cart Taxi Service will be available in the campgrounds. Taxis will be available on Thursday from 12pm to 3am, and Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 9:30am to 3am. For an Accessible Golf Cart Taxi, you can call 780-878-1189.     Are Meet & Greets available for sale? We do not have any Meet & Greets for sale - the only way to meet an artist is to win the pass! ​ How can I win Meet & Greet passes?
