In celebration of our 25th anniversary, we’re getting ready for our biggest Big Valley Jamboree yet. After 25 years of hosting the brightest stars in country music and partying with our extended BVJ family, we’re taking everything we’ve learned to make a number of improvements to the festival for our fans. We’re also ready to announce two of this year’s headliners, both of whom are returning BVJ veterans.

Fifteen years after his first-ever BVJ performance, Keith Urban will be returning to the main stage! Urban’s "ripCORD World Tour 2017" follows the spring 2016 release of his eighth studio album, RIPCORD, which has already produced three No. 1 singles – the Grammy nominated “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16”, “Break On Me”, and “Wasted Time”, which stayed atop the charts for two weeks and became Urban’s 21st No. 1 record. RIPCORD’s fourth single, “Blue Ain’t Your Color”, is on country radio and headed towards yet another top position. Urban continues to add to his career CMA Awards nominations, garnering four for the November 2, 2016 event, including Entertainer of the Year and Album of the Year. As the days go by, we’ll be waiting for the upcoming long hot summer when Keith reclaims his rightful place under the BVJ lights!

Whether he arrives on a night train or the back of a big green tractor, Jason Aldean is sure to get the party going when the lights come on at the BVJ main stage. Having just recently released his latest album, They Don’t Know, Jason is just gettin’ started when it comes to showing off his newest material. With over a decade at the top of charts, his relentless artistry continues to earn him awards and accolades including ACM, CMT, CMA, Billboard music Awards and more. Old and new fans alike, we’re all looking forward to a little more summertime in 2017 with Jason Aldean.

A multitalented, Texas born singer songwriter playing the guitar, mandolin and harmonica, Kacey Musgraves is currently touring in Canada and the USA. In 2013 she received two Grammy awards for her album Same Trailer Different Park and the single Merry Go ‘Round. Her 2015 album Pageant Material debuted at number one on the BIllboard country charts. We look forward to Kacey gracing the BVJ 25 stage with her talent, beauty and attitude.

CMA Musical Event of the Year nominee Chris Young has been celebrating the chart topping success of his duet with Cassadee Pope. Think of You is a RIAA Gold certified single making it Chris’s eighth single to hit the top of the charts. We’re excited that he’ll be celebrating BVJ’s 25th anniversary with us.

To improve the BVJ experience for our fans, we’re focusing heavily in the next months on how we can improve the audio and video coverage in the main concert bowl. Adapting to erratic Albertan weather can be tough, but we’re determined to constantly improve your BVJ experience.

But before we set up the stage and bring in the artists, we might be stopping in your hometown on April 29, 2017. Small Town Saturday Night is back, and this year Gord Bamford will be putting on a very personal show for the winning town. Details on how to enter and win a once in a lifetime concert for your small town will be coming soon!

Tickets go on sale to the general public November 1, 2016, 10:00 AM.  To order yours visit www.BigValleyJamboree.com or call 1-888-404-1234.
