It’s all over for another year. The 19th edition of Big Valley Jamboree was once again a tremendous overall success and we want to express our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to our thousands loyal fans who have made Big Valley Jamboree such an outstanding event.  For the most part, the weather cooperated, the fun was never-ending, and the music and entertainers were amazing.  But without our fans, we have nothing.

We are already hard at work reviewing Big Valley 2011, and looking for ways we can improve your experience at the event.  We have received many great ideas and suggestions from our fans as to how we can improve the quality of Big Valley Jamboree, and we sincerely value and appreciate that feedback.

We were of course very disappointed that our main headliner on Sunday, Toby Keith, was unable to appear on stage due to laryngitis.  Toby was extremely upset that he had to cancel and posted the following Tweet on his website:

“Laryngitis & doc’s advice forced me to cancel my show at BVJ. Hate that I had to do that. Thx to Ronnie Dunn 4 extending his set & thanks to u all 4 ur get well messages. –t”

Next year marks the 20th Anniversary of Big Valley Jamboree, which will be held from August 2-5, 2012. If you think we might pull out all the stops to mark this momentous occasion, you’re right!

Two words are all we need to announce our first confirmed Main Stage entertainer for 2012.

    Rascal Flatts.

Thanks again, fans.  Enjoy the rest of your summer.  See you next year!
