After winning-over contest judges and voters with their innovative take on Toby Keith’s “Red Solo Cup” and their heartfelt pleas for a new school playground, the Town of Legal successfully raised over $93,000.00 at the inaugural Small Town Saturday Night Grand Prize Concert on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
Headlined by multi-CCMA Award winning artist Dean Brody, the concert was just one of a full day of events, including a silent auction, songwriter’s circle and autograph session that raised funds benefitting The Friends of Legal School Society. Owing to this momentous surge in fundraising, construction of the new playground is slated to begin in September of 2012.
