More Artists Announced for 20th Anniversary
BIG VALLEY JAMBOREE 20th Anniversary!
Panhandle Productions LP., producers of Big Valley Jamboree in Camrose, Alberta, are pleased to announce that Big Valley Jamboree is celebrating its 20th anniversary!
“We have enjoyed 20 great years of putting on one of the music industry’s premier festivals,” said Larry Werner, General Manager/Producer of Big Valley Jamboree. “This year is going to be the best Big Valley Jamboree ever, with many of country music’s biggest stars coming out to help us celebrate.
The celebration will include performances by Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band at the Kick off Party and many more artists that have yet to be announced. “Each one of these artists is a headliner in their own right. We have them all in one place for 4 days and nights,” adds Werner. “We are still acquiring artists for the festival, so it’s just going to keep on getting bigger and better.”
Blake Shelton is heading to BJV after a big win at the 2011 CMA Awards. Shelton received male vocalist trophy for the second consecutive year.
Toby Keith is returning to the festival after a bought of laryngitis kept him from performing the previous year. “It was a very hard thing not to go on stage for all my fans” said Keith. “I am really happy to be returning to this amazing festival and can’t wait to be a part of the celebration.”
Big Valley Jamboree is truly about the fans. “We are in constant contact with our fans, listening to their suggestions on how to make the Festival even better” said Chris Melnychuk, Assistant General Manager / Producer of Big Valley Jamboree. “We have grown the festival to become a community and understand that we have to give the fans what they want.” This year the fans wanted a big bash to celebrate the 20thanniversary and that’s exactly what they’re getting.
Big Valley Jamboree has become an iconic summer festival and will once again be held over the August long weekend in Camrose.
“The 20th Anniversary Big Valley Jamboree is very significant for everyone associated with our event,” concludes Werner. “We are committed to a great celebration – not only as a statement of our strength and commitment to the country music community, but as a tribute and our appreciation to those who have supported us throughout the years.”
