Big Valley Jamboree Announces Latest Artists
To Appear at BVJ 2011
Panhandle Productions is proud to announce the latest group of artists signed to appear at the 19th annual Big Valley Jamboree in Camrose, AB from July 28-31, 2011. Artists previously announced to appear at Big Valley 2011 include Toby Keith, Jason Aldean, Gary Allan, Ronnie Dunn, Charlie Daniels, Bill Engvall, George Canyon, Rodney Crowell, Jake Matthews and Victoria Banks.
Joining these performers on stage in Camrose this summer will be Sara Evans, one of today’s most successful female country artists. Evans has a long string of #1 hit albums and singles, highlighted by her double-platinum album "Born to Fly" and #1 singles such as "No Place That Far", "Suds in the Bucket" and "A Real Fine Place to Start". Evans has won numerous awards including the ACM Female Vocalist of the Year, and has just released her chart-topping "Greatest Hits" album, including four exciting new songs certain to entertain her thousands of fans at Big Valley.
Australia’s hottest country band is coming to Big Valley this year! Melbourne’s Jetty Road has been the top country band Down Under for years, capturing the Australian CMAA Award in 2010 for Best Group. They have been touring the world for the last couple of years, bringing their country pop sound to audiences across North America, opening for major artists such as Brooks and Dunn, Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift. After electrifying the crowd at the 2009 Kick-Off Party, Jetty Road makes their Main Stage debut this summer.
Sault Ste. Marie’s Shane Chisholm is one of Canada’s fastest rising young male vocalists, and brings his talents to the Big Valley main stage this summer. Riding the strength of his latest hit album "Hitchhiking Buddha", this two-time CCMA Award winner is will be showcasing his vocal and guitar talents at Big Valley 2011.
Another rising young Canadian male vocalist will be making his Big Valley debut in July. Ontario’s Greg Hanna is living proof that talent and perseverance eventually pays off. Hanna had a Top Ten single "Ain’t No Justice" as far back as 1997, but his self-titled debut album didn’t hit the charts until 2009! There seems to be no looking back now for this very talented artist.
The excitement all starts on Thursday, July 28, 2011 with what promises to be one of the biggest Kick-Off Parties ever, featuring Sawyer Brown, Dean Brody and Shane Yellowbird.
Early bird tickets and reservations for on-site camping are now on sale, but prices rise January 31, 2011 so act now for maximum savings! For a complete list of prices, camping and ticket information, please phone Big Valley Jamboree at 1.888.404.1234 or call Ticketmaster.
As exciting as Big Valley Jamboree promises to be this year, the 2011 talent
line-up is not yet complete. More major acts that will complete the roster of performers for this year’s festival, in addition to the full list of fantastic entertainers for the Molson Canadian Saloon will be announced soon.
