More 2011 BVJ Artists Announced!
Panhandle Productions is proud to announce the next wave of artists signed to appear at the 19th annual Big Valley Jamboree in Camrose, AB from July 28-31, 2011. Major artists previously announced to appear at Big Valley Jamboree 2011 include Toby Keith,Ronnie Dunn, Sawyer Brown, Rodney Crowell,Dean Brody and Shane Yellowbird.
In the last twelve months, Jason Aldean has spent more weeks at #1 on radio charts than any other country artist, and he’s coming to Big Valley Jamboree! Aldean, a former Academyof Country Music Top New Male Vocalist, is certainly fulfilling the promise he first showed when he exploded onto the country music scene five years ago with “Hicktown” and is now on top of the charts with his sensational new album “My Kinda Party”. Aldean will be making his first ever appearance at BigValleythis year.
Joining these internationally acclaimed performers on stage will be Gary Allan, one of BigValley
2011’s headlining performers and one of the most original and unique male vocalists in country music today. Allan, whose latest album Get Off on the Pain has spawned three hit singles, is making his first appearance in Camrose since 2003. Owner of three # 1 singles, Allan’s Greatest Hits album shot immediately to #1 on the charts on its release. His raspy, honest sound is certain to be a big hit at Big Valley Jamboree next summer.
GeorgeCanyonowns a shelf full of Juno and CCMA Awards and returns to Big Valley Jamboree next summer to entertain his thousands of fans with his piercing eyes, square jaw and silky smooth voice. His album “What I Do” has spawned six hit singles to date including his latest “Better Be Home Soon”.
When Edmontonhosted the CCMA Awards in October, the unquestioned breakout star of the event was Muskoka, Ontario’s Victoria Banks, winner of CCMA Awards for Songwriter of the Year and Female Artist of the Year. Banks makes her Big Valley Jamboree debut this year but she is certainly no overnight success story. Long recognized in Nashvilleas one of the finest songwriters in country music, Banks is now only scratching the surface of her amazing talent as a performer.
Also just added to the roster of entertainers for Big Valley 2011 is the pride of Sudbury, ON, Jake Mathews. Mathews, whose Time After Time album spawned a series of hit singles, has just released his latest single, If I Had It My Way.
Bill Engvallis one of the best and one of the busiest comedians in the business today, and he will be bringing his unique take on the humour of everyday situations to BigValleythis summer. Engvall is well known for his hilarious ``Blue Collar Comedy Tour, The Movie`` and the even more racous sequel `` Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again``, which collectively have sold more than 7 million DVDs!
