Back for their 18th year! Big Valley Jamboree returns this summer for another fun filled weekend of the best in country music superstar entertainment. Named four times as the CCMA “Event of the Year”, Big Valley Jamboree combines some of the most exciting and entertaining superstars in country music with four days of sun, fun and friendship in Camrose, Alberta. Make plans now to be there from July 29-August 1, 2010.
Panhandle Productions is proud to announce Keith Urban as the first headlining performer confirmed for Big Valley 2010. When Urban first appeared at Big Valley in 2002, he was one of country music’s fastest rising young male vocalists. Now he makes a triumphant return as one of a handful of truly superstar entertainers in the music industry. A multiple CMA, Grammy and ACM award winner, Urban brings his electrifying live stage show to Big Valley this summer!
Miranda Lambert exploded onto the country music scene in 2005 with her electrifying debut album Kerosene, which immediately shot to #1. CMA and Grammy nominations flowed in, along with recognition as the ACM’s Top New Female Vocalist. Her 2007 follow-up album Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was named one of the year’s overall Top 10 albums by Entertainment Weekly. Lambert’s newest album, Revolution and hit single “White Liar” are both now topping the charts.
Tracy Lawrence owns one of the finest voices of his generation, and brings his distinctive song stylings to Big Valley again this year. Lawrence owns more No. 1 Billboard singles than Wynonna and more Top 5’s than Faith Hill! Find out why at Big Valley this year.
The Boys Are Back! The Oak Ridge Boys’ newest album shows how this legendary country/gospel group is not only one of the most enduring acts in country music, but how they are evolving as well. Multiple Grammy winners and members of both the Gospel Music and Vocal Group Halls of Fame, The Oakridge Boys are certain to thrill their fans with a mix of their iconic hits and exciting music from their new album.
Kevin Costner & Modern West return to Big Valley this summer for their long awaited performance in front of their Big Valley fans. Currently touring in Europe, Costner and his band have quickly turned into one of the most polished and entertaining live acts in country music.
ACM 2008 ”Best New Male Vocalist” Jack Ingram makes his first appearance at Big Valley this year! Hits from his latest album Big Dreams and High Hopes are certain to fill the air in Camrose.
Also confirmed for the Main Stage is Doc Walker, 6-time CCMA winner and one of Canada’s most accomplished country music groups. Big Valley Jamboree has always prided itself in showcasing many of Canada’s rising country music performers and the tradition continues in 2010 with the Main Stage appearance of Crystal Shawanda, recently named the CCMA Female Vocalist of the Year! This young artist is destined for superstardom!
Big Valley is always so much more than just the Main Stage entertainers. From the excitement of the always popular Kick-Off Party on Thursday, July 29th to the rocking sounds in the nightly Molson Canadian Saloon, to the final notes on the Main Stage on Sunday, Big Valley offers their guests a wide variety of interesting and entertaining events for the entire family. Special mention has to be made of the five acts that will be appearing in the Molson Canadian Saloon this year. The Grambo Brothers, Kory Wlos, A.J. Woodworth, Aaron Jake Goodvin, and Shane Chisholm are all returning to Big Valley to honour their obligations from last year and keep the entertainment rocking every night!
