BIG VALLEY JAMBOREE ANNOUNCES MORE NEW PERFORMERS FOR 2010
Panhandle Productions Ltd. is proud to announce more exciting talent signed to appear at the 2010 edition of Big Valley Jamboree in Camrose, AB from July 29 to August 1, 2010. Named multiple times as the CCMA “Event of the Year” Big Valley Jamboree is putting together another outstanding line-up of country music superstar entertainment.
Main Stage headliners Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert have been previously announced and they will be joined by four-time CMA “Female Vocalist of the Year” Martina McBride! McBride’s big voice and soprano range have been entertaining audiences around the world since her debut album in 1992. Her 2009 album Shine is still riding high on the charts. Martina will be the Main Stage headliner on Saturday, July 31.
Legendary country music superstar Ronnie Milsap makes his long anticipated return to Big Valley this year. One of the most successful country crossover stars of all time, Milsap’s sweet ballads and rapport with his fans leave no doubt as to why he has been named the CCMA “Entertainer of the Year”. He will also appear on the Main Stage on Saturday, July 31.
Making their Big Valley debut this year will be one of Canada’s fastest rising country rock groups, Calgary’s Jo Hikk. Rocking venues from Canada to Kandahar, Jo Hikk has already earned two 2009 CCMA Nominations for “Group of the Year” and “Rising Star Award”. Their debut album Ride has been supplying a steady stream of Top Ten hits.
The Kick-Off Party on Thursday, July 29 is always a Big Valley highlight. Appearing on stage this year will be Chris Cagle, performing many of his chart hits including his Number One single “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out’.
Additional Main Stage artists already announced for Big Valley Jamboree 2010 include The Oak Ridge Boys, Tracy Lawrence, Kevin Costner and Modern West, Doc Walker, Jack Ingram, and Crystal Shawanda.
Big Valley Jamboree is always so much more than Main Stage entertainment. A full range of activities and pursuits are available for fans young and old alike.
